Jonathan Hobart (Jobey) Hollinger is an associate of the firm. He concentrates his practice in the areas of general corporate, transactional and securities law matters. Jobey handles diverse matters for companies, with particular emphasis on early stage, emerging growth, and middle-market sector enterprises, including drafting and negotiating documents for, and counseling with respect to, equity financing transactions (including angel and venture capital rounds), securities law compliance, private equity transactions, mergers, acquisitions and divestures of companies, debt financings for private and public companies, business formation and other general corporate, commercial and transactional matters.
Jobey began his legal career as a business and finance associate in the Philadelphia office of Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP, an international law firm that has a top ranked, world class practice in business and finance. While practicing at Morgan Lewis, he represented numerous clients in mergers, acquisitions and divesitures, equity and debt financings and a myriad of other corporate and commercial matters. He also gained a broad range of experience in private entity formation, corporate governance and SEC disclosure requirements and filings. During his practice at Morgan Lewis, Jobey prepared and/or reviewed a wide variety of business and corporate agreements, including asset purchase agreements, merger agreements, securities purchase and sale agreements, escrow agreements, security agreements, limited liability company operating agreements, partnership agreements, shareholders agreements, licenses and joint collaboration agreements, and other documents in connection with corporate transactions and commercial and general corporate matters.
Prior to attending law school, Jobey taught conversational English to high school students in France and, thereafter, was a research assistant for the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, DC. The combination of Jobey's legal and non-legal experiences and skills, particularly his counseling of early stage enterprises, position him well to provide high quality, value-added services to our clients. He joined SORINROYERCOOPER in July 2010, eager to apply his skill set to the service of early stage, emerging growth and middle market enterprises.
