Dan Reiter, an associate, joined the firm in February 2010.  He focuses his practice in the areas of business, transactional and corporate law matters.  Among other things, Dan negotiates, structures, and documents finance transactions involving debt and equity, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and a broad range of other business and commercial arrangements.  He also counsels clients with respect to issues relating to business formation, governance and operations, business restructurings, and other general corporate and transactional matters, including those relating to technology acquisition, licensing and transfer.

Dan began his legal career as an associate in the Philadelphia office of Dechert LLP, an international law firm which has top ranked, world class practices in corporate and securities law and structured finance.  While practicing at Dechert, he represented numerous clients in a variety of transactions involving equity and permanent, mezzanine and other subordinate debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, and a myriad of other corporate and commercial matters. Dan also represented a national statistical rating agency in connection with its initial issuance and surveillance rating operations.  He gained a broad range of experience in entity formation and general corporate governance.  Dan has prepared, reviewed and negotiated a wide variety of business, corporate and finance-related agreements, including those relating to purchases and sales, limited liability company operations, partnerships, loans, arrangements between and among creditors and co-lenders, pledges and other security interests, in- and out-licenses, technology transfers, escrows, confidentiality and non-use,  and commercial and financing leases.
